1. Publisher and contact

2. Purpose and relationship with sales

These terms govern use of the store, its content, customer accounts and contact forms. Product purchases are governed by the terms of sale, shipping policy and return and refund policy. For questions relating to an order, those sales terms take priority. No provision on this page limits consumers' statutory rights.

Professional requests for merchandise, artwork or customization are subject to a quotation and the terms expressly agreed for each service. Simply contacting us does not constitute an order, acceptance of a quotation or a transfer of rights.

3. Access and customer accounts

Browsing the website is free, apart from connection costs payable by the user. Some features may require identification. Users provide accurate information and update the details needed to process their requests and orders. They protect their access credentials and notify us of any unauthorized use they become aware of.

Occasional interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or technical incidents. Website unavailability does not remove our obligations relating to existing orders. If you experience difficulties, contact us by email or telephone.

4. Website use and messages

Users agree to use the website lawfully and for its intended purpose. They must not impersonate another person, send unlawful or malicious content, infringe third-party rights, disrupt the store or attempt unauthorized access.

Messages and files submitted must be necessary for the request and respect their owners' rights. Sending artwork for a quotation does not grant us commercial use or publication rights; permissions required for a service are agreed separately.

Where misuse is established, we may take proportionate measures necessary to protect the website and its users. Such measures do not permit us to improperly retain payments or remove rights attached to an order.

5. Artwork and intellectual property

Logos, illustrations, photographs, texts and other content are protected by their respective owners' rights. Viewing content or buying an item does not transfer any right to reproduce, modify or commercially exploit it, except with permission or as allowed by law.

6. Third-party links

The website may link to artists, social networks or third-party services. They have their own terms and privacy policies. Their role does not release Maison ChatNoir from its obligations as seller when you buy from our store.

7. Personal data and cookies

Data processing is described in our privacy policy. Cookie choices can be managed through the preference tool on the website. Using the store alone does not constitute consent to marketing or cookies that require consent.

8. Liability and complaints

Each party is responsible for their actions under the conditions provided by law. These terms do not exclude our statutory liability, applicable product guarantees or consumers' remedies. For an issue relating to the website or an order, email contact@maisonchatnoir.fr.

Complaint procedures and mediation information are set out in our terms of sale. No mediator has currently been appointed; their contact details must be added after membership.

9. Changes and applicable law

Updates are dated and published on this page. They do not retroactively change the terms applicable to a previous order. French law applies without depriving consumers of the mandatory protective provisions they benefit from. Statutory rules on jurisdiction apply, with no exclusive jurisdiction imposed on consumers.
